Trust The Process!

I ask one thing of my clients—”Trust the Process.”

This request can be challenging because when people reach out to me, they are ready to make changes in their lives and would love for it to be quick and easy. We are an impatient culture.

My husband likes to say we live in an “Amazon Prime" world. We expect solutions, deep change, success, love, and of course toilet paper to arrive overnight and with minimal effort.

Transformation takes time and energy.

Last summer, a remarkable woman in her 90s reached out to me to work together.

Her goals:

1. Start focusing on her own priorities

2. Feel proud of her choices

3. Feel good about herself.

A client of mine told her that having a life coach had been life changing!

This strong, determined, and intellectual lady wanted "some of that" too! She shared that she had grown up in the 30s and 40s when women were not treated equally to men. Her two brothers were expected to become doctors and she was expected to get married and have a family. She raised 2 amazing men but always felt unfulfilled in her role. She applied for and achieved a masters degree at WSU which she was very proud of. She also trained and ran a half marathon in her younger years, but always felt an undercurrent of unworthiness.

We connected in June 2023 and started to work together weekly. She was skeptical and frustrated at first, but stuck to her commitment to trust the process of shifting her reality even at 91 years old. She decided she is not done here. She continued practicing new thoughts and actions and committed to changing her inner world by changing her thoughts and her choices with more productive ones. Eventually, she could see that her outer world was now aligned with what she wanted.

✔️She now feels good about her choices

✔️She feels proud of herself

Furthermore, she has developed an unparalleled ability to overcome obstacles in her life. She has never had greater confidence in herself.She's never felt happier as she does right now.

It is now August 2024 and she is confident and ready to take a break and trusts herself to know when its time to expand and grow her world again!
